30 Years of Legend of the Five Rings
Celebrating three decades of the Emerald Empire

This year’s Gen Con is happening right now, in Indianapolis – many of you may well be reading this at or on the way to the event – and as you may also know, Legend of the Five Rings and Gen Con have been associated for a long time.
In fact, the original collectable card game was first previewed at Gen Con 1995, in Milwaukee, before being released later that year, meaning that this year’s event marks the game’s – and the setting’s – 30th anniversary.
And here on L5R.com, we are going to celebrate.
Check out the video above, if you haven’t already, for a look at some of what we think has made – and continues to make – L5R so epic over the last 30 years. Over the next few months, we’re going to be celebrating all of this and more as we look back, and look forwards, with news, features and a new podcast, right here on the website.
We’ll have more details soon, so to make sure you don’t miss a thing, sign up for the L5R newsletter, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
And in the meantime, why not watch that video again, and let us say thanks for your part in keeping the Legend alive over 30 years.
