The
followers of Daigotsu are in a weakened state. Following Iuchiban’s final retribution against the Dark Lord,
the City of the Lost is in shambles. Kyoso no Oni and the Maw have risen from the Festering Pit, and look upon
this so-called Dark Lord in disdain. Armies of oni and monsters have risen to challenge Daigotsu’s power, and
Fu Leng remains strangely silent. He aids neither side; confident that whoever best serves his purposes will
ultimately prove stronger. Daigotsu has been forced to seek whatever allies he can, and already has embarked
upon plans to restore Moto Tsume and summon Akuma no Oni to aid his armies.
